Hey everyone, I thought I would share with you my day, it was a long yet short day for all of my family as we gave our respects to her and prayed for her.
Being the poet that I am, I wrote a few poems, with some help from my family to make them better which I shall share with you.
For those people that don’t know my grandma was one of the kindest of people whom roamed this land, in my eyes anyway. She was a person who cared for many children, even those who weren’t directly related to her. A foster mother for many years.
All of my poems are untitled so if you have any suggestion of titles for them feel free to share in the comments box.
Growing wings, flying free,
My grandma means a lot to me,
Soaring high, in the moonlight sky,
No more problems to pass you by,
You’ve beat cancer once before,
But you shall suffer, no longer more.
You may be gone, but you’re never forgotten,
For when we meet you up in heaven,
We’ll enjoy spending time together,
Board games, card games, and people all present,
For taking you was a big mistake,
I write this poem to commemorate,
Your love, your life, and paradise.
Each night we shed a silent tear,
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you,
And just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops,
Wrap them up in love,
Then ask the wind to carry them,
To you in heaven above.
I hope these poems speak to you also as much as they do to me.
It has occurred to me recently how easy but different the conversion from MySQL to MySQLi is. With only a few changes needed in the mark up. Let’s begin by looking at MySQL first. <?php
$link = mysql_connect($host, $user, $password);
And that is it. As you can see there isn’t much to it. It also works without the “$link = ” and “, $link” bits too. Now let’s check out MySQLi.
And that’s how simple it gets. I can not believe how easy the change is. Although from what I’ve read, any function that requires database connection does need to include $link (Or what ever you call the variable) in to it before it will even attempt to access the database.
Thanks for reading I hope you have learnt something from this. As I know I don’t post that much (Mainly because I don’t know what to post about) I appreciate your comments and feedback
Hey everyone. I thought I’d take a look at Omegle.com. A website that works in the same fashion as Chat Roulette where everyone is connected to a random person and are able to talk to them using Text based chat and Voice and Video over IP.
I have been thinking for quite some time of what I would do because I have been quite bored at home and I was completing my set tasks on RuneScape of which I set.
So here we go. Please note: This video is all live and un-edited. So please remember to turn down the volume a little or otherwise unplug any earphones.
Hey everyone and I’m back with another post (Lucky you)
Do you remember when I said a couple of days ago when I told you about my friend doing Ask the Impression? You do? Good! Well it’s here, he has uploaded a video and wants everyone to comment on it to ask “Prof. Brian Cox (Wonders of the Universe)” questions
Here is his opening video, Please everyone comment, I want this to be a successful project
Okay, here we have a video created by one of my good friends. He makes me laugh more than humanly possible with nearly every word that comes out of his mouth haha. I was up at his house earlier this week and I saw his recording process.
I was going to use this blog to post things that happen in my life, I then soon realized my life is boring haha. I don’t do much and the things I do do I forget to blog about.
I don’t take many pictures of myself because I’m boring too.
I will use this blog for anything I feel like sharing, whether it’s a YouTube video I enjoy or a puppy I see in the street. So my blog may get a little more exciting for all the people that read my blog properly (5 people) I hope to obtain a wider range audience with posting random things
That’s all for now so I bid you a due and happy webbing people
Tomorrow is my girlfriend’s birthday and all I was able to buy her was a card which has been sitting in her apartment for the past week or two haha. She has been wanting to open it since she got back from her parents house in Korat (A town in Thailand) last week, I have been asking her not to open it until her birthday because it wouldn’t make sense until that date (which is mostly true) it does have sentiment and meaning but some of it can happen any day.
I will probably write another post once she shares the card on Instagram and twitter haha
Chompy, I love you so much and can’t wait for you to open your card
